There will be a new single from the album very soon, ‘Where can I hide’, and we are in negotiations to have an awesome surprise guest vocalist appear on the single version, so watch this space!
Lots of other activity planned for the near future but for the time being we are very busy with the promotion of these releases so I will bring you properly up-to-speed in my next newsletter. Wish me luck!!!

We had so many problems our distributors have pushed back the official release date to 22nd August so if you want a SIGNED COPY and a FREE GIFT and to get your album before the end of this month you can still buy it from this website using PAYPAL or GOOGLE CHECKOUT…just go to the store. I’m posting this to update you all on what has become a very annoying and embarrassing situation with our album manufacturers.
We have had weeks of to-ing and fro-ing about various problems which I won’t bore you with, but I’m afraid I still don’t have a definite, guaranteed delivery date for our stock of albums.
I’m so sorry, I really can’t apologise enough. I can only say I PROMISE it’s not my fault, or my team’s, we are pushing every day to get delivery and we’ve done everything we can our end. I guess as I’m not (yet) ordering huge quantities I’m not that high on their list of priorities!
However what I am going to do in order to make it up to you is include an extra little gift when the albums are finally delivered. I hope this will help you to be patient just a little longer.
For those who have only so far paid a deposit, as soon as we have a definite delivery date I will contact you for the balance. For those who have paid in full I promise you will be the first to receive your albums.
A million things happening here in Shèna-land…I know I always say that but it is truer now than ever! Firstly an update on album delivery. I do apologise that you will still not have received your album or been contacted about paying the balance (those who paid a deposit), but today we FINALLY delivered the master and the artwork to the manufacturer’s which means you will receive your albums within approximately two weeks. For those who paid a deposit you will be contacted shortly with instructions on how to complete your purchase.
You will see that you can now pre-order the album from Amazon and Play BUT those copies will not be signed or benefit from the free download, and they will have to wait until after 1st August (official release date)
Next, some VERY exciting news!!!! On Tuesday 8th July I will be appearing LIVE on the ‘Lorraine’ show on ITV1 at aboput 8.50 am to be interviewed, and the My Brave Face video will be aired nationally for the first time!!!! SOOOOO excited…hope I don’t clam up!!!
From 15th-23rd Moscow I will be in Russia (mostly Moscow) where I am also launching ‘My brave face’ and I will spend the week meeting and greeting lots of TV, radio and press people over there, plus performing 4 live shows. Can’t wait!
Next on the agenda will be the release of ‘Homewrecka’, my collaboration with Stereo Brain and Sheriff (aka hubby James), which is being released on our label at the end of August…it’s quite an urban vibe so hopefully you Kiss, Rinse and Radio 1 Xtra listeners will be hearing it soon!
And finally (for now) please keep an eye out for my ALMOST 100% confirmed live appearance, with band, at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire supporting Rahsaan Patterson on 25th September…I’m sure some of you would like to come so watch this space for more info!!!

Hope you are all really well! I wanted to wait for my next newsletter until the video of ‘My brave face’ was ready but it’s taking a little longer than expected so here I am. The shoot was amazing, THANK YOU to those that volunteered as extras, I couldn’t have done it without you. Hopefully it was a fun day for you. Anyway we start promoting the remixes soon so I hope you will start to hear me on the radio and see me on TV over the next few months. Exciting!!!! On other news my song ‘Homewrecka’ from 2079 is being revamped for 2011 for the ‘UK funky’ scene (Katy B stylee) with dubstep and grime mixes from some hot new talents Mikee B, Stereo Brain and SNK…kicking me into the 21st century!!! Of course for the dizco purist the album mix will be part of the release package…hopefully another video too….
